WTAO's Mission Statement:
Working
Together As One Productions is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization, that changes
lives through dramatic presentations. The mission of WTAO Productions is
to create, produce and perform inspirational, educational and professional plays that
change people lives through dramatic presentations. All plays have
positive messages and are all based on real-life characters with real-life issues. In addition our
plays create opportunities for children, young adults, and adults to develop and
display their talents in all aspects which pertain to the theater.
Although many of our productions are from the perspective and voice of the
African American community, our Christian themes are universal. The messages in
the plays all deal with social and moral issues that all people experience on a
daily basis, regardless of color. Because we have had so much success from our
past performances, we have come to expect nothing but significant life changing
events to take place from the messages when we perform our plays. Objectives Our objectives are to create an atmosphere through drama that will touch the lives of those who the church has missed. We believe that drama can effectively be used as an evangelistic tool. Clientele The groups of people we are trying to reach are people of every race. Because the messages in the plays all deal with social and moral issues that all people experience on a daily basis, regardless of color.
